We work tirelessly, investigatively, critically, hold against it, defend the democracy, point out grievances, give topics, take up topics which are ignored, put right and put again and again “the finger on the wounds”.
“Everything is connected to everything with the result of the naturschafltichen principle of cause and effect, by missing humanity and injustice, discrimination of minorities, racism, right-wing extremism, the unequal treatment of the sexes in the society, not kept rights of humans and animals, and the unscrupulous exploitation of the poorest, the animals and resources of this planet. ” Astrid Ebenhoch journalist and founder of Hounds & People.
We support NGO s and independent journalism through our large network. After the foundation in January 2010, after one year we stopped the hate campaigns and discrimination of the minority people with dogs and afterwards and until today, we stand up against the discrimination of other minorities. The society was divided and desolidarized, past the needs of the population governed, intolerance, ill will and envy sown, the inhibition thresholds fell and a breeding ground for the new Nazis created, which sit today in the Bundestag and the state parliaments.
The mainstream press and media had forgotten to do their job in Germany, were primarily interested in profit through selling circulation and traffic through headlines, instead of facts, content and democracy.
Especially today after the shift to the right in Germany, due to widespread fake news and conspiracy theories, it is important that everyone has access to serious information. So to give everyone the opportunity to inform themselves to understand.
We thank our readers who also suggest articles and topics that we pick up or post on Facebook. Good journalism means credibility and dialogue with readers.
We do not belong to any media group and are not supported by any foundation, but financed everything on our own and privately from the very beginning. In Germany, there is no investment in independent press and journalism that defends democracy.
We don’t leave Facebook to right-wing trolls either, but stand up to them. On our Facebook-fanpage with a large reach we support independent journalists, NGOs, media platforms, online newspapers and post articles from all over the world after verification.
We have between 1 and 1.5 million readers/visitors from Germany, Europe and the USA every year – and the number is growing.
To inform about what is happening in the world, to show how much serious, courageous, critical journalism there is and to unite all forces defending democracy. So no one has to hang out on ominous platforms that spread conspiracy theories instead of facts and damage democracy. That’s why we are one of the few press portals without a pay-wall and rely on your solidarity and support.
The devastating fires caused by the climate disaster in Australia, which killed millions of animals and 25 people, just illustrates the effects of a conservative government that ignored climate change, nature, environment, animals and the welfare of the population for decades – for the profits of corporations.
